Experience
I completed my postgraduate training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) at Goldsmith’s College, University of London. With over 25 years of clinical experience, I have worked extensively with patients in both in-patient and out-patient settings, delivering specialised psychological assessments and mental health treatment within the NHS and private sectors.
My recent tenure within the NHS involved serving as a Senior Psychologist at the Maudsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, within the Department of Psychological Medicine. Here, I provided care to patients referred by the Cardiac Rehabilitation Team at Kings College Hospital. Prior to this, I contributed to the esteemed teams at The Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust - a leading centre for heart and lung conditions and the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in the Adult Psycho-Oncology Service.
Throughout my career, I have collaborated closely with psychiatric liaison teams and operated within multidisciplinary frameworks. Additionally, I have gained extensive experience in various mental health settings, including general adult mental health services at South West London & St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust, child and adolescent mental health service at Oxleas NHS Trust within addictions and substance misuse treatment.
I have over 10 years of experience in private practice which began with a collaborative partnership with the late Dr Jeremy Pfeffer (Consultant Psychiatrist) at Harley Street, alongside my work within the NHS. I was a member of Queen Anne Street Practise in Marleybone until I decided to move my practise to providing remote therapy services.
Following the completion of my work within the NHS in August 2022, I moved into providing remote therapy in private practice on a full-time basis. I continue to provide some limited teaching as a guest lecturer to Clinical Psychology Trainees at the Institute of Psychiatry at Kings College Hospital.
